Your
looking at the transmitter site for KCGN and at the base
of the tower there is normally a small building that houses
the transmitter and related equipment. After winds
of over 100 mph on June 8th, this is the scene as you
drive up to the site.
The powerful winds left
little to salvage. As you look over the north side
of the foundation, you can see the building and all the
equipment that used to be in it.
Another look at the debris. |
Here is our 1600 lb main transmitter...
This part of the debris is our air conditioning
system recently donated by our friends at SP Olson Heating
and Air Conditioning from Alexandria, MN. |
Our satellite dish
did not hold up under the intense force of 100 mph winds.
