Radio
tends to be a one-way street in terms of communication, so
manning the Praise FM booth at area events is an awesome opportunity
to hear what God is doing. When people say, “Thank you for
praying”, “Thank you for helping our family stay together”,
“Thank you for telling me about Jesus”, it's so encouraging!
And over and over again we hear from people thanking us for
including God's Word in the preaching and the comments between
songs. One woman recently shared, “I travel throughout the
upper Midwest , and I long to be in your area. You are my
scripture station.” With our emphasis this year on scripture
memory songs, we especially appreciate that word!
As
we look to the future we are excited about what God is doing
here and in distant lands. Our Africa network is building
momentum with new stations planned for 2008. We were recently
asked to provide a satellite feed of our programming to KNOF
radio in St. Paul , MN , covering 10pm to 6am each day.
Next
on the schedule is the 2007 Fall Sharathon, and we would love
to include your gift or faith promise toward the need of $525,000
(and growing). As one of our listeners pointed out during
the last Sharathon, it currently costs about $1 a minute to
operate our network of stations and website ministry. That
means a gift of $5 covers one song or one moment of God's
Word, which can touch thousands of lives that are listening
in. $15 covers one day of a program like Joyce Meyer,
Enjoying Everyday Life ; $30 covers one day's Focus
on the Family .
Regardless
of the amount, each gift is a blessing. If you are
able to give at this time, we are so appreciative. We
really can not make it without listener support. You can give
