Please allow me to begin with a word of gratitude. Thank you for listening to Praise FM and at some point connecting with this ministry. We are honored that you tune in, and thankful that you are taking a moment for a ministry update.

In terms of impact, we are so encouraged by what God is doing. The stories are humbling and amazing! Vicki wrote to us last week from Pennsylvania and shared about a difficult season of watching her mother dying of cancer. She missed Praise FM but realized a few days ago that she is still able to listen online at work.

“I felt an instant feeling of the presence of the Spirit, so much that tears flooded my eyes. Nearly every song that came on was if God Himself was telling me the words. I believe there is something very unique about your station. I believe the Spirit comes through the airwaves and touches listeners. I’m not talking about a format or song lists, I’m talking about an overwhelming feeling of peace and comfort that comes over me when I am listening, the presence of the Holy Spirit.”

Who would have known in 1984 at our groundbreaking in Osakis that people would now be listening from around the nation and from 164 nations! Of course most of the stories that we hear are from your friends and neighbors. That is why we are so grateful for your support. Our broadcasting costs about $1 per minute. That is why we treasure gifts of $5 and $10. We know what God can do in 5-10 minutes of programming!
Team 360 is a commitment of about a $1 a day, and qualifies you for a quarter day of broadcasting. It is a wonderful way to honor someone in your life.
A full day of broadcasting is $1,500, and this commitment can be fulfilled anytime during 2012.

Your gift matters more than you probably know, because hundreds of thousands of people are able to listen locally or online, but less than 3% have ever made a gift. Our income from the first three months of 2012 is running behind last years pace, so we would love to hear from you today!

Sharathon FAQ

What is Sharathon?
Sharathon is our bi-annual fundraiser that sets the pace for our yearly budget. Twice a year we set aside 2 or 3 days to ask you to be a part of the story in encouraging believers in a lifestyle of worship and reaching people for Jesus.

How is my contribution used?
Your contribution is chiefly to impact lives and families across the listening areas through worship. It literally keeps Praise FM on the air day and night and goes toward electricity, equipment, maintenance, phone lines, bandwidth, towers, transmitters, translators, antennas, music licensing, legal fees, salaries and more.

Is my contribution tax deductable?
Yes, Praise FM is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Do you really need my contribution?
Yes, because we don’t air commercials, we depend on your contribution.

How much do you need?
Our goal for our Praise FM Sharathon's vary. Our annual budget need for our entire radio network is $1,115,000 for 2012.

How can I give?

What’s a faith promise?
A faith promise is pledging to give a gift to Praise FM and having faith that the Lord will provide for you to fulfill your pledge within the next year.

What’s a day sponsor?
Day sponsors make part or all of a broadcast day possible. When you become a day sponsor, you’re able to pick a date and time for your sponsorship spot to air and you get to pick what the spot says. You get to share special thoughts and commemorate your special event with our entire listening family! Plus, you’re helping to change lives through worship with your gift!
